Fret wear, this mandolin has some light wear on the first few frets but plays great. Physical condition, this mandolin is in good condition, but has been played quite a bit and shows some wear. The lacquer finish is also showing some thinning, chipping, and discoloration around the edges of body along fingerboard. The paper label inside the mandolin has gotten damp in a few spots over time, more than likely from polish or possibly sweat, which made some of ink on blur together, but most info, including model and serial number, are still perfectly legible.

There are some dings, dents, and finish chips here there over the body head stock, along with various scuffs scratches elsewhere. There is also a slight bit of lacquer hazing on the back body.
